If you have substantial research and development experience, strategic thinking and a future-oriented approach, you now have the opportunity to provide professional and organisational leadership for the University of Pécs’s 3D technology centre. We are seeking a Head of Centre for our 3D Printing and Visualisation Centre at the University of Pécs Medical School!
Your tasks would be as follows
•Directing and overseeing the professional work and the financial and administrative activities of the 3D Printing and Visualisation Centre in accordance with Section 35(3) and Section 52/B of the Organisational and Operational Regulations of the University of Pécs Medical School
•Developing the educational application of innovative 3D technologies, taking modern pedagogical methods into account
•Promoting the wider use of 3D technologies across the organisational units of the University of Pécs Medical School
•Further developing the market-oriented RDI activities and commercial services of the 3D Printing and Visualisation Centre
•Coordinating the research and development projects of the 3D Printing and Visualisation Centre
Specific Requirements
Relevant university degree, PhD and habilitation
Ability to deliver lectures and engage in professional debate in English and/or German
At least 10 years of experience in teaching, research and development, and innovation
Demonstrated participation in industrial research and development
A scientific or RDI grant secured independently
Significant scientific activity and recognition at national and international level
The candidate must have plans relating to the performance of the duties and their implementation
Appointment to the leadership position requires an existing employment relationship with the University of Pécs or the establishment of such an employment relationship
