Tasks
•Directing and overseeing the Institute’s teaching and research activities
•Planning, organising and monitoring high-quality professional work to ensure the proper operation of the Institute of Biochemistry and Medical Chemistry, and assuming professional and financial responsibility in respect of the matters specified in Section 35 of the Organisational and Operational Regulations of the University of Pécs Medical School
•Coordinating the teaching of students enrolled in undergraduate programmes in Hungarian, English and German, and overseeing postgraduate education
•Delivering lectures and conducting examinations in Hungarian, English and/or German
•Developing an integrated, competency-based curriculum for the teaching of medical chemistry and medical biochemistry
Expectations
Relevant university degree, PhD and habilitation
Ability to deliver lectures and engage in professional debate in English and/or German
At least 10 years of teaching experience
Significant scientific activity and recognition at national and international level
The candidate must have plans relating to the performance of the duties of the position
Appointment to the leadership position requires an existing employment relationship with the University of Pécs or the establishment of such an employment relationship
