Department Director

Tasks

• Managing and monitoring the department’s teaching and research activities
• Planning, organising, and monitoring high-quality professional work to ensure the proper functioning of the Department of Primary Health Care; including professional and financial responsibility according to § 35 of PTE Medical School’s Organisational and Operational Regulations
• Coordinating the instruction of undergraduate students in Hungarian, English, and German, and monitoring postgraduate education
• Delivering lectures and conducting examinations in Hungarian, English, and/or German
• Reviewing and developing competency-based assessment methods for the required courses of the Department of Primary Health Care
• Preparing and implementing a family medicine assessment pilot, developing course requirements, exam topics, question banks, assessment technology, and grading criteria based on a unified competency matrix

Expectations

University degree in a relevant field
PhD, habilitation
Ability to lecture and participate in academic discussions in English and/or German
At least 10 years of teaching experience
Significant scientific activity and recognition at national and international levels
The candidate must have plans for fulfilling the duties of the position and ideas for implementing them
To fill the leadership position, the candidate must be currently employed by the University of Pécs or be willing to establish an employment relationship with the university
